South Dakota | You can go into the diagnostic addresses and make your fan run a certain speed and see if it is actually running that speed.
Go to message center,
Press Addres, (You may need to press address for 10 seconds, a T will pop up once you release the button. This is technician mode, You may need it to put in the value for fan speed)
Go to ECU.
ECU 60 is your input, so that’s where you would put in your desired fan speed to monitor fan. (This value clears itself every time you restart tractor, it’s only intended for diognostics.)
ECU 40 is actual fan speed, so that’s where you can monitor your speed.
ECU 41 is the desired fan speed, so you can see what the ECU is calling for and see if the actual speed matches the desired speed.
And like someone else mentioned if you unplug it it should go to full speed, but you won’t be able to monitor it through the command center anymore. | |
