NEMO | Pretty sure in Missouri the RR has to pay for all of a fence. Not sure what happens if cow gets hit, but bet they probably would have to pay.
A few years ago I bought some ground that borders the BNSF. A couple phone calls and the right person said get it built and send a bill. I hired a fence builder and he sent them the bill and he got paid.
I have since bought the next adjoining property and it needs a dozer and a fence. Another farmer in the area on down the line rented a farm and it needed the dozer and the fence and BNSF paid to do it. | |
