I've loaded and unloaded corn heads the same way the mfg did. Each row unit has holes at the ends. They slide 1.25" shafts that slide and reach at least 2 row units on each side. Hook chains to those shafts. Have 2 loaders or fork lift and loader, lift up and pull trailer out.. I've always hauled them flat on the front, stands on the back..
