Subject: RE: PC Mars on a Macintosh

I have never had a Mac or PC Mars either one but PC Mars is Windows software and will not run on MacOS.

Intel based Macs can dual boot between Windows and Mac OS through the use of bootcamp.

Apple Silicon Macs (M1 and up) cannot use bootcamp but you can install Parallels within Mac OS and then use parallels to create a virtual machine that you can install Windows on. You can also install Parallels on an Intel Mac. I would probably run parallels over bootcamp even if I had an Intel Mac because then you wouldn’t have to reboot every time you wanted to be in a different operating system.

Anyway, once you get Windows on your Mac one way or the other, then you can install PC Mars within Windows.

Like I said, I haven’t personally done any of this but I do like messing with different operating systems and virtual machines and dual booting and I have always wished I had justification to buy a Mac just to mess with Mac OS so I’m basing what I’m saying from that experience and studying.
