Subject: RE: Bigger Hydraulic Pump on John Deere 7830

I dont know what the procedures are to put one in. I do know to go from a 33gpm pump on my 8420 to a 60 gpm pump its $6 k for the pump, + whatever labor is involved to split the tractor (new to me....not sure if you actually have to split the tractor), r&r it and put tractor back together.

I was going to upgrade the pump, and add an scv as the tractor only has 3 and i needed 4 for the application i was thinking of doing. Rough cost est was $9k is parts and another 4-5 in labor (it wasnt a formal qoute just a parts cost and the svc managers thoughts on how many hours of labor it shohld take)
