Passed and built one here.
Of coarse the towns people were all for it.
The worst is we are sharing with Remsen and those land owners don't pay anything.
I wish we would just kick Remsen out.
Remsen has 5-8th grade. 1-4 and high school in Marcus.
Next yr both my kids are over there.
I get to pay for it and my kids can't even use it.....
Edit- ours was 20 mil
2.1 mil went to an attached day care
Failed first attempt, passed 2nd.
20yr tax levy
Did it need work, probably, but 20 mil no.
This is a town of 1000 people.
They think the school will save the town and spur long term economic growth....
