We moved yearlings to a small pasture lot that had bunks. Perennial ground cover near the bunks was non-existent so it grew hemp or K-pot in the summer. We sprayed the hemp with 2,4-D so it was wilting/dying at turnout. We were surprised to see the yearlings strip all leaves off the hemp stalks in no time. We did not witness any ill effects on the yearlings. The hemp lasted only 1-2 days. | |
