| Even tho those stumps dont look like much now, they will chew up tires like crazy.
My vote would be to hit them 6-8 inches below. Ground level on the big ones. Might have to hit them once in the center, once on right once on left and put a blade as high as you can and push them over.
I did that with a small skid loader and a plate welded so it slipped on a couple manure toothed bucket. Was using it on slightly frozen ground and could clear lots of 6-8 foot trees on down to sprouts. Didnt tear up but 6 inches or so from roots.
A bigger tractor loader for bigger trees would work best. Or hire a dozer for those.
Dump all the manure you can. At least when your done the stumps arent going to eat your lunch. Its going to be a few years till all the needles rot away and dont choke out good grass. Hand seed whats too steep for tractors | |
