feed native grass hay on it if u can, youll be suprised how much native grass will come through just from cutting the trees, atleast in nebraska thats how it is, ive done the exact same thing you are but with a shear, native grass will grow up in a year. then let it grow up and burn it at some point, haft hafta hafta burn
