The 2007 Panasonic (TH-50PC77U) really does have better color IMO. Resolution isn't as sharp, but for my intended use of this TV set color trumps resolution. It also weighs 86# so its coming out of the house in pieces when it dies. Kinda fun fact, Panasonic made plasma TVs up to 103" in 2007, old literature says that model cost $50,000 in pre-Obama money and it weighed 443#. | |
