| We will be updating the fencing around our lots with guard rail in the near future. Where we are located, RR ties will rot out in a short period of time. I am strongly considering using the I-beam style post that the highway department uses but I am unsure about how to secure them to the ground since most of the posts are only 6’ tall.
Do you pour a small concrete pad? Weld 2 post together?
Other recommendations?
