| Ya, you went to the extreme. So if you get a cancer diagnosis you're not doing treatments? I've taken Omeprazole for 30 years, it sure beats having esophageal cancer from years of heartburn. My Grandpa, Mom's dad had heartburn always. He sucked on a Tums or Rolaids all the time. My Mom would gripe at him all the time about doing that, this would have been before they really had meds for it. She was wrong, and you are too. As other posters also have said, it may be something else that needs figured out. If I forget to take an acid pill in the morning, by noon that day I'm feeling it. Tell your son to get some acid pills and see if that does it, then leave him alone to figure out what's best for himself | |
