Lots of truth there. A lot of guys like looking at their balance sheet, smiling at whatever number they decide to write down on something they have no interest in selling… so it really doesn’t matter, when if they looked at the purchasing power of the asset, their wealth is actually largely in part, a function of inflation and devaluation of the $.
