So i guess us cattle guys need to work for free? By the time you figure expenses in there isn't much left. Same way with crops if you rent everything. Go to texas road house, there isn't a night that place aint packed. Most order steaks so not like its ground beef. No one wants to put the work in to run cattle, so they crop everything. The guys that put the time in should be rewarded. Theres a pasture thats going sell this fall, if i dont buy it it will be torn out and farmed. Probably take 8k an acre plus to buy it. Thats why beefs high. Plus dont get me started on the packers raping people.
