NW Wisconsin | It was 3.80 the harvest before that lol and everyone thought it was gonna be better and hung on to it and sold it for the same price but 8 months later with storage costs lol. Guys learned a big lesson there and sold at harvest this year because according to the outlook it was 100% the right thing to do so even with 4.50 cash price now it doesnt mean squat because the bu are already gone. The days of penciling a profit under 4$ corn is gone. Too many investors want money regardless of commodity pricing. They will find someone else that will pay it | |
