Illinois | You have a lot going on there I am hoping your family can be made whole . If the contractor did not fulfill the agreement ,that is a breach of the agreement. The tile is an issue , get Your contractor not theirs to get either your tile fixed or install and sub main a new system on the 11 acres . Realistically the topsoil will be a problem but I am sure you can come up with a $ figure. Typically this type of project crop damage is taken over 5 yrs with 100% first yr then 80,60,40,20 . Most of the time unfortunately it is not enough you will see where they excavated in the easement for years . It is about making you whole you can’t be nice to someone who took your property by eminent domain. Sorry you have to go through this. | |
