Mercer,  Darke counties in Ohio, Jay county IN starting approximately 7:00 and lasting for maybe 2 hours groups of 5-25 drones have been seen hovering over livestock farms and particularily poultry facilities in this area for the past two weeks . Some of the facilities have already been infected some not.  This is an area that has been devastated with bird flu in the last couple of weeks to the amount of 15-20 million birds, and additional outbreaks are still occurring. My son's employee who flies drones for him has pursued  one group of four for 20 mile at speeds of up to 50 mph while they would alternately turn the lights on and off. The local livestock producers / poultry producers  and the county sheriff departments are needless to say very concerned but upon questioning the FBI no answers are forthcoming.

Just my opinion from several states away and not being in the poultry business -- If the drones you're referencing were the from the USDA or other applicable agricultural agency on legitimate mission(s) to assess and help the producers, those agencies should have made their drone missions known to every owner they're hovering over long before they showed up to hover over your farms. There is no reason for them to remain covert if they truly have nothing to hide, especially with the bird flu so widespread. I would refuse to just grant some unknown person, agency, etc the benefit of the doubt that was flying the drones.

I'd say you should contact all of your local TV and other media, along with all of your local, state and national elected representatives about this matter, and the sooner, the better. I'd also contact your local airports about what is going on as well.

all the suspicious drone activity seems to be at night, is it really limited to the night and you just don't see them because during the day they aren't as visible without lighting? They make pretty good noise so would think you would hear them if they are very close. If they were up to no good at night, wouldn't it be pretty easy to disable or cover up any lights? None of this really adds up. If they are moving around in swarms over target private property it is hard to believe nobody has taken several down, the world is full of rule breakers and those unafraid of the law, why are they all just standing around now?
