I had the same problem 3 or 4 years to the point I had to talk to an attorney in central mo. He said the drone had to stay at minimum 450 ft. Over my property. When I called the sherrif from 2 different counties one county said to shoot it down the other said I would be in trouble. In my case the guy was a real slime ball. I had a real problem with that thing hovering and videoing my wife and grand daughter's 20 foot above them
You need to find a better attorney. Or maybe an honest one that is not trying to get you arrested so he can fleece you while trying to keep you out of prison. There is a very well known 400 foot MAXIMUM altitude that drones are required to stay below so they are not interfering with planes. |
