| First, if student debt was not in a separate category from regular debt, I would not be in favor of student loan forgiveness. I also think any forgiveness should be focused on people working in low paying necessary jobs, think social work.

Second, Biden modified the rules hoping to satisfy the supreme court, not defy the court. I don't believe that it worked.
Third, as you point out Biden did not have immunity at the time, Trump should take him to court if it was illegal.
