| I think the main difference with turn-comp for the flow adjustment is that it isn't so much a mapped difference in flow that it is tabulating, I'd suspect it is just inferring the 'speed' at that nozzle position based on the turning speed of the boom.
If they can do the same guts and simplify the input for the VR map to just an increased speed at that nozzle position, then maybe it can skip all the differential calculations and stuff that would be occurring if the monitor was just 'following the map'.
I'd hope the monitor would be able to do it like you were suggesting, but I know monitor processing has also been much of the backlog to SP sprayers being used with dual solenoid spraying too. (along with power consumption/etc.)
