I remember when we started the no-till movement here, I had some farmers meet with a no-tiller and NRCS Agronomist to discuss it. He quickly realized that the no-till experience farmers had here was no-tilling second crop soybeans and/or corn after taking first cutting hay. He commented "No wonder these guys don't think no-till works. They are using it in the most risky of situations."
