My wife and I always tried to plan to have enough income from purchased land to keep at least one of us in LTC. If both for an extended time, might need to sell some land. So be it, it’s an asset that WE earned and we will use it to take care of us if that is needed. Our heirs should never be guaranteed of an inheritance. I never planned for an inheritance and didn’t get much. I probably value what I have a lot more than if it had been given to me. |
