Pittsburg, Kansas | I chided my dad when he was around 65 and had retired. I said "yeah you cut down to 40 hours a week in retireement".
He said the difference was he always had responsibility and had to work whether he felt like it or not. In retireement he did what he wanted. If he felt like knocking off and spend time with his grandkids, he did it without feeling guilty.
He definitely earned it.
