Nebraska | It’s an F2 because it’s the second generation crossbred. Hybrid vigor is not gone, it’s still a crossbred, but will be reduced on average from the F1. In the F1, they ARE all 50/50. In the F2, because of random selection of half of the chromosomes you can theoretically have any combination from 100% one way to 100% the other. They should AVERAGE 50/50. | |
