So farmer1234 did you visually watch these cattle drink? Did they refuse to drink, did cow tip over from drinking this water? Lots of unanswered questions there in my opinion. You say 30 lost pregnancies', who confirmed that? Vet or cow just didn't breed up. So many unanswered questions in my opinion.

You really need to look at hydrology of the well in question. I would pull drillers log on the well, also of other wells in the area. Driller log should tell you where perforations are at, and if in different strata of water than neighboring wells. Maybe casing has went bad on top side of well, maybe could be fixed. Maybe water could be treated? Also, can the water be pumped to dirt ponds and settle some of the salts, etc. out of water and be, ok?

This is a prime example of why as a landlord you would want to water tests on hand, say every few years so you know a baseline. You never said 30 pregnancies out of how many cattle? Sure, can be a lot of factors to cause that percentage. First thing people point fingers at bio-farm, yet was and any testing done there? Sound like you better be getting ahold of Dept. of Ag of your state and talking to them and getting soils & water tests. But also, when did tenant make this accusation? When cows came off or this spring? I would be blood testing cows and other organ testing of cattle if he's making these claims.

Yah, I get it you don't want to fix problems maybe but, if someone is contaminating ground water then that needs to stop. So many rules in place to stop this kind of stuff. I really think if it was me, I'd try to get to the bottom of the problem.
