can you apply potash in a strip/zone -- 100 lbs of potash in a 4"x8" worked strip is 4X times concentration as broadcast and worked 4" by a soil finisher. Also it is directly where the young corn plant's roots can access it when the plant needs it. Do you sidedress with 28%, try putting some 0-0-30 with the N.
