Flandreau, SD | Not sure on the combine last year as that field changed hands and we spring Zone build and spring Dawn strip tilled behind that. This will be our first year on a big scale with deep (18-20 inches) and strip till.
The jury is still out on the deep but they both look very good. I believe strip till will work very well in our area. I like spring strips as of now. was impressed how well the strips dried in wet ground. All the corn on corn I did was deep zone built before and that moves alot of trash. I will be doing corn on corn this fall with the Dawn unit alone.
