The chances of soybean rust becoming resistant to fungicides is small. The disease doesn't overwinter except on kudzu in the south, which is untreated. Doesn't look like we will need to treat for rust every year, except maybe the south. Just don't see it happening. If it does happen, it will occur in south america first.
