Chad-interesting comment on rain vs nt. Not sure about your area...I've flown over it many-many times, but maybe not low enough to see that 20 degree spread phenominon. Theres normally enough air movement both lateral & vertical, to keep things evened out once you get a few ft off the ground. It takes a lot of moisture laden clouds to bring precip, irregardless of surface temp. You will get up/down drafts from unequal surface heating...but that seems to happen all over world, irregardless whether it's no-till or even farmable ground. But-maybe nt does bring rain. Strip-tillers might thing they get 75% chance then. |
