Subject: First GPS? Mixing brands?

Missaukee Mi
Looking at getting GPS for 3 tractors. We are looking at updating to a vdrive planter that we would pull with our john deere 8430, it is greenstar ready only. Our precision dealer also deals in AG Leader gps so we have a quote from him on the 8430. We are hoping to plant our corn maze with it as well and our precision dealer has knowledge of how that would work and knowledge of the planter side too. Would you go AGleader or Deere for that tractor? What would it cost to put gps and autotrac from deere on the 8430? We have a 7250r that is autotrac ready and has the armrest screen, would you just buy a used 6000 receiver for that tractor? It will be used for spreader fertilizer, tillage and mowing hay.
Our 9620 came with a atu on the steering wheel and has the cabling to hook up a receiver and screen, it would be solely used for tillage, would you just buy a screen and globe? if so which ones?
If we go Ag Leader would you go with RTK through cell signal or Terrastar of some sort?
Would we regret having an Ag Leader system on one tractor and deere on the other two? What would be the most cost effective and effective way to to accomplish this?
