NW Indiana | So a 181 yield gets a carryout of 2102 and 52 gets us a carryout of 445. With potential not all the acres get planted those numbers can get tight in a hurry. Plug in a very respectable 175 yield and corn carryout falls to 1600 in a hurry. Things aren't near as bearish as what so many were leaning. I suspect the funds will want to cover leading into the heart of the growing season with the risk still greater to the upside.
Edit: they are still slow to move SA production down and if needed in the future will just put more pressure on the US to grow a good crop
